Where to buy cute collectibles at retail
The official store for every brand, and how to catch drops and restocks.
Every flip starts at retail. The gap between the retail price and the resale price is the profit, so the first skill is buying at the official price instead of a reseller markup. These are the official stores for all six brands on this site.
Official stores by brand
| Brand | Store | Site | What to know |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sonny Angel | Sonny Angel USA | sonnyangelusa.com | Official US store. Mini blind boxes $12.25, Hippers $13.75. New series sell out fast and restocks are irregular, so the official store is the first place to check. |
| Smiski | Smiski official store | smiski.com | Official store. Blind boxes $12.25. Series sell through quickly after release, and the secret figures are the ones that carry the premium. |
| Labubu | Pop Mart | popmart.com | Official store and app. Blind boxes $19.99 to $39.99 by series. Drops sell out in minutes, and the app is where most restocks happen first. |
| Sanrio | Sanrio | sanrio.com | Official store. Plush $27 to $50, throw blankets $24 to $44, bag charms $12 to $28. Limited and seasonal pieces are the ones that resell above retail. |
| Jellycat | Jellycat | jellycat.com | Official store. Small $28, Medium $33, Large $55. Retired designs are where the resale premium lives, because Jellycat retires lines regularly. |
| Disney Doorables | Target, Amazon, and shopDisney | target.com | Multi Peek blind boxes $11.99 at Target and Amazon, and shopDisney carries the Disney lines. Prices run $9.49 to $24.99 by line. |
How to catch drops and restocks
New series sell out fast, and the resale premium appears the day a series sells out. The official store is always cheapest, so check it first. Sign up for restock emails at the store and turn on notifications in the Pop Mart app for Labubu. Check Target and Amazon as a backup for Doorables, since they carry the Multi Peek boxes. And before you pay any reseller, look up the figure on this site: the retail price is on every figure page, so you can tell in seconds whether the asking price is a markup or a deal.
The other place to find figures at retail is in person. Target, Walmart, and specialty toy shops carry Doorables and Sanrio, and blind box shops in malls carry Sonny Angel and Smiski. A shop that still has last month's series on the shelf is selling at retail while the same figures go for twice the price online.
Frequently asked questions
Should I ever pay resale prices for a figure still in stock?
No. Check the retail price on the figure page first. If the official store still has it, buy it there. Resale prices only make sense for sold-out, retired, or secret figures.
How do I catch a restock?
Buy from the official store first, sign up for its restock emails, and check the Pop Mart app for Labubu drops. Restocks usually sell out in minutes, so the alert matters more than the timing.
Is it better to buy a single blind box or a full case?
A single box is cheaper and is the right way to start. A full case costs more up front and does not guarantee a secret, so only buy cases once you know the series sells through.
